5. Soult – Grade: A- (90.9% - 458) – Excellent Basic Attribute (Leadership, Attack, Defense, & Politics) scores, and very strong Ground Troop Buffs combine to make him an excellent Ground PvP option. 13. Recommended Specialty Level: For VERY HEAVY spenders or above, maybe 4-Yellow, since he’s the highest rated Ground PvP general with Rally Capacity Increase. For everyone else, he’s probably not worth investing the resources unless you are one of the 3-4 biggest players in your alliance.

T-11. Prince Rhaeger – Grade: B- (76.4% - 385) – A good all-around general that can be used for any troop type, but has the most specialties focused on Mounted Troops. Excellent All Troop Attack Buffs, substantial March Size Buffs, and an Enemy Troop Defense Debuff combine to make him a reasonable Ground PvP option.

  1. Specialist Against: Any type of opponent depending on how he is set up, in this case opponents that are heavy on Mounted Troops.

  12. Recommended Specialty Level: None, he’s not worth investing Runestones because there are vastly superior choices available in the Tavern and as Relic Chamber Rewards.

21. Queen Victoria – Grade: D- (22.2% - 112) – Horrible Basic Attribute scores and very weak Ground Troop Buffs combine to her a very weak Ground PvP option. As one (1) of the three (3) generals on the list that has a defensively focused “built-in” skill, she’s certainly not the best choice, but she might still be better than any general not listed?

  1. Specialist Against: Opponents that are heavy on Ranged Troops.

  2. Strongest Buffs (at 4-Yellow Specialties):

  3. Ground Attack Increase: +10% (+35% w/ Skill Book)

  4. Ground (Movement) Speed Increase: +0% (+20% w/ Skill Book)

  5. March Size Increase: +0% (+12% w/ Skill Book)

  6. All Troop HP Increase: +20%

  7. Ground HP Increase: +0% (+20% w/ All Troop HP Increase)

  8. Ground Defense Increase: +10%

  9. Dragon: Not required

  10. Acquisition: Relatively EASY (at Tavern Level 27 and above), but probably the 11th best option available in the Tavern.

  11. Culture: Europe

  12. Introduced: Unknown (before January, 2018)

  13. Recommended Specialty Level: None, she’s not worth investing Runestones because there are vastly superior choices available in the Tavern and as Relic Chamber Rewards.

Note About DRAGONS: Whenever possible, dragons should be placed on PvP Generals (mostly because I hate moving dragons). VERY few players have five (5) dragons, so the dragons should assigned per the following:

  1. Ranged PvP - Celtic Demon (1st Dragon - Red) or upgrade to Ladon (6th Dragon - Turquoise)

  2. Mounted PvP - Fafnir (2nd Dragon - Purple) or upgrade to Nidhogg (5th Dragon - Dark Blue)

  3. In-City Defense (Main Wall) - Dragon of Thebes (4th Dragon - Gold)

  4. Ground PvP - Norway Ridge (3rd Dragon - Light Blue) or upgrade to Amaterasu (7th Dragon - White)

  5. Siege PvP - Fafnir (2nd Dragon - Purple) or upgrade to Colchian (8th Dragon - Green)

  6. Mounted PvM for Pushing - Fafnir (2nd Dragon - Purple)

  7. Subordinate City Battle (PvP) - Norway Ridge (3rd Dragon - Light Blue)

Typically, the Norway Ridge (light blue) Dragon is assigned to the Ground PvP General because it provides an extra Debuff Bonuses (not specific to any troop type). However, the Norway Ridge can be replaced by the Amaterasu Dragon, if the 2nd round of All-Star Battlefield can be reached. But, typically that requires being a VERY HEAVY spender, spending enough to buy five (5) packages per day (or about US $185/day or about US $5,000-$6,000/month).

The Norway Ridge can be then be re-assigned to the best Subordinate City Battle (PvP) General.

Please let me know if I missed any good Ground PvP Generals, or if you have an unlisted general you would like run through the algorithm to get a grade/score.
