Most efficient pairs to gatherin:

. Food - Jindeok/Shimazu

. Wood, Stone and Ore - Jindeok/Gaius Marius


Explanation for skeptics:

We will have at least 4 Jindeok. It will always go as a main with minimum policy cultivation +300 and the Lv.4 books of food, wood and stone gathering.

Full Champion Gear (fastest and cheapest to get)


To collect food it is indisputable that the Assistant will be Shimazu, with Lv.4 books of troop load (ground, range, mounted or siege)


For wood, stone and ore the Assistant will be Gaius Marius. He's in the tavern (not Lucy) so it's easier to get 3 or 4 quickly. He gives the same bonus as Lucy on wood and stone gathering (+15%) a…

My ore Jindeok I have ascended 1 time for extra gather speed, she's level 31. I have upgraded 1 spec 3 times which gives her 6% gather speed. Her politic is cultivated to the max for extra speed, I have no gather books on her, only ground, mounted and siege load, I have 2 pieces of dragon gear for the set buff gathering speed 15%,made sure the weapon is an kings gear. I have one of each for her. But her other gear is mostly centered on gathering ore and lumber with refines. This paired with gaius marius makes a perfect pair. The only thing is you can only place a lvl 4 ore gathering book on him so you…

I like Lucy and Shimazu better than Gaius because they provide good buffs to everything, and that just makes my life simpler. I'm sure Gaius is better for some things and not better for others, honestly it hurts my head too much figure out.


Unfortunately, in the long run, the choice of gathering assistant just will not matter enough to even spend time thinking about.


I'd invite you to come back when you're K39 and need 750 billion of each the four resources (3 trillion resources total) to become a fully functioning K40. I suspect the difference between the three assistants over a one year long period would amount to maybe 0.01% of the resources required to go from K3…

Constance does not work with Jindeok. Her bonus does not count. If you cannot be attacked on tiles, then I would add a march speed to the assistant generals to get to the tiles and back faster. Load really does not matter once your army is large enough. Also, march size is useless unless you cannot send enough troops to finish a level 15 tile. But that is usually a very temporary problem.

Yes, correct Constance does not work with Jindeok. I don't have Constance listed as a Gathering Assistant option.


Did you read the "Skill Book Options" Section?


It seems perfectly reasonable to switch March Speed with Troop Load, if you prefer to have that. Personally, I use March Speed-Ups if I want to get somewhere faster.


March Size also comes into play with the Alliance Resource Tile, so it's not completely useless at higher levels.

I want to build 3 identical pairs for gathering with Gaius and Jindeok. These 3 pairs would cover lumber, stone, and ore. I would have a 4th pair for food: Shimazu and Jindeok.


You CAN attach a level 4 Ore gathering speed skill book to Gaius (you can't attach lower level skill books. I understand the risk when adding skill books this way, that it may get overwritten). I am on a server that has been in civil war for months. We have no NAP and tiles can be attacked. So I was thinking gather speed and load bonus skill books. Load bonus means fewer troops needed to clear a tile, and that means fewer troops exposed to attacks.

Thanks for the info about the Ore Gathering Skill Book on Gaius, I knew there was something weird about that, but I couldn't quite figure out what it was.


Yes, Gathering Speed and Troop Load will be the most important Skill Books for your situation. I've also found that sending to tiles that are more than 100 KM away from the hive and using march speed-ups will help decrease the chances of getting hit.


If you get hit in a resource tile, there's no general that will make much of a difference. So, I would make Queen Jindeok the lead on all gathering marches. Just get in and out as fast as possible.


I would also recommend experimenting with T1…

Timur 100% load. What to add to him? Or what's wrong with adding load books to Lucy's speed?

Unless you are on a BoB (Bubble or Burn) server, I'm not sure I would spend any resources developing Timur. I'd maybe keep him until there was a better choice and then dismiss him. He's not really good for much except stealing resources from other unattended keeps. For looting resources, I'll send 2 good Battle Generals with Ground or Siege March, and I'll be using a 200% march buff, and probably multiple marches for that anyway, so Timur is not really going to be helping with that (too risky). IMO, having Timur on a PvP March is a waste of a good slot, that could have been used for something much better. Nothing is wrong with adding Load Increase Skill …
