Evony - Under 200 Wounded on Arctic Barbarian Castles

To get to under 200 wounded on Level 5 Arctic Barbarians, turn on the Monarch Talent : Mortality (in the 2nd row) and employ the following march designs:

335M, 502M, 669M, 837M & 1B Power Castles

All Layers: As small as possible to wipe out a ten (10) troop Arctic Barbarian Castle Layer in one (1) turn. Probably somewhere around 8-40 troops.
Fill the remaining march space with T13 Ranged.

K41 minimum to solo an 837.

K43 minimum to solo a 1B.

314M, 391M & 468M Power Castles

All Layers: As small as possible to wipe out a ten (10) troop Arctic Barbarian Layer in one (1) turn. Probably somewhere around 8-40 troops.
Enough T13 Siege to wipe out the Arctic Barbarian T12 Siege in one (1) turn. Probably around 70-90% of the amount of Arctic Barbarian Siege. That's 700,000 to 900,000 T13 Siege for every 1,000,000 Arctic Barbarian T12 Siege.
Fill the remaining march space with T13 Ranged.

Warning: These marches are designed to specifically take advantage of Arctic Barbarian Castle weaknesses, they do NOT work well for PvP.

I am a K39 nearly maxed on research (academy and MA). I still get 3500 wounded using this approach, solo. What am I missing?

What level are you trying to clear? How many troops in your base layers? As stated above, for a K39 it's probably not possible to get under 200 wounded on 837M and 1 billion power castles.

Check a report and let me know which layers are taking wounded.

If I had to guess without knowing answers to above questions, I'd say try more troops in layers, maybe 30 or 40 troops per layer. I'm K43 and need layers of 32 for the 1 billion power castles. For all smaller sizes I use layers of 8 troops each.

If the larger layers don't work, try setting a rally and sending it solo. If that doesn't work, try changing your monarch gear to ranged or using larger march size and/or attack buffs.

I solo 837 and 1b barbs as k39. the 837 I only take 19-29k, the 1b I take 30-44k, depending on the amount of troops in the barbs. I do start them as an alliance rally first for the extra in-rally buffs.

Yikes, that's a lot of wounded. Does that seem worth it? It seems like you're probably netting 5-7k gems worth of resources per 837, and 5-10k gems worth of resources per 1B.

With these march designs, it's pretty standard to be getting under 200 wounded. To me it seems like you'd be better off sticking with 669s and trying to get those down to under 200 wounded per attack. With that, you'd be netting about 17,500 gems worth of resources per 669.
